In the United States, chronic disease is the principal cause of death and disability, and consumes 78% of health expenditures. Overwhelming evidence from various sources—including prospective cohort, epidemiological, and interventional studies—links most chronic diseases seen in the world today to physical inactivity and inappropriate diet consumption. The ever-increasing load of modern day stress and environmental pollution also adds to the premature aging and its related overall decline in health.
Over the past four years, I have been more and more interested in building an integrative medical practice with focus on lifestyle intervention together with natural hormonal adjustments. I am very excited with integrating both Eastern wisdom and Western medical science and technology.
In order to pursue my passion in healing and providing the quality of care to patients, I have decided to make this change so that I will have ample time for each patient who is interested in wellness and prevention.
